We are Kent Hall and Beverly Minn, a husband-and-wife team who have been in business since 1986. That means we are not only quite mature, but been through it all. Both of us have degrees in wildlife biology and worked for the US Fish & Wildlife Service in Alaska, in the 1970s and 1980s.

Our commitment to the future is as strong as ever. As wildlife biologists, perhaps we are more aware of how life as we know it, is very dependent on other life forms. Our goal is to share the natural wonders of this small part of the world, with you.

We do not offer package deals because our clientele is so diverse that one size does not fit all. Sitka's a relatively small town with a populace of about 8500 people, and 15 miles of road. It is hard to be lost for long.

We'll help you find a place to stay and direct you to places to eat. If you lean toward the security of a package deal, trust us. It is not hard to do it yourself and you will maintain that feeling of independence
