Just like clockwork, a mink has ruined our floor insulation, on cue.

On May 6, the National Marine Fisheries Service decreed a one halibut daily bag, only for guided sport anglers in Southeast Alaska, to begin June 5. For more information go to the Charter Halibut Task Force website, www.charterhalibut.org.

We’ve had more sunshine than clouds, causing a growth spurt in the vegetation.
