Like the last two years, we're happily getting more sunshine than expected! Judging by the chatter on the marine radio, summer is drawing to a close.

There are still salmon and halibut to be caught, but there are not as many around as before. Humpback whales and sea otters are still putting on a show, but most of the avian species have fledged.
